Its not a bug. The ladder was reset. This means that everyone is in a top tier guild until the ranking is reestablished through playing.

Also, there are almost 200 guilds on the ladder now.



I'm curious to see whether Anet plans on doing anything to the guilds at the bottom of the ladder that are conspicuously tanking.

First of, does anyone think the /guild 3 is the best emote? Fire erupting from the ground and huge scythe assault.

Also, they should allow people to keep the emotes for a couple weeks so that people can play with them for a little bit before they are restricted to the top ladder ranks.

Great update overall. thumbs up for Anet showing that they haven't forgotten about GW1 and its PvP. And I hope this will reduce the "Elite Q.Q" from PvP.

One thing to point out with AB.

On ancestral:

Reward for winning on Luxon side approx 5K Imperial
Reward for winning on Kurzik side approx 4K Imperial

This seems a little off to me considering the added difficulty on the luxon side.

Idk about the rewards for losing.

A win in JQ and AB, including average points gained in match, gives about the same faction now, not counting underdog bonus. Underdog bonus may be a flat 1K now.

My point is a JQ match last about half as long as an AB match not including forming etc.

It's throwing repeated code 7 totally at random during combat with your new Charr with no possibility to reconnect in Flame Temple Corridor/Dragon's Gullet during The Titan Source (HM).

This. In JQ, it doesn't matter so much - either side you play on, you're primarily capping quarries/guard posts and killing other players.

With FA, though, the two sides have very different goals and hence need very different builds to play. Randomly tossing people on a side would most definitely not work here.

So does this mean that for those of us who have maxed kurz and lux titles, we can just convert imperial to balth faction? Won't that devalue z-keys?

not realy because the ratio of 3:1 is so high that its not so easy

I'm more curious to see how z-coins are going to mess with their value, if at all. I don't think that many people used their gold coins to purchase keys, but the option was still there.

Think about this. With everyone converting into balth and no one gaining faction the alliance system is going to break down.
